Synopsis/Plot:
Murli Prasad Sharma, affectionately known as “Munna Bhai,” is a street-smart gangster in Mumbai. He runs an extortion racket, feared by everyone. However, Munna has a secret—he pretends to be a doctor to please his parents, Hariprasad and Parvati, who believe he’s pursuing a medical career. Each year, Munna’s gang transforms their hideout into a makeshift hospital during his parents’ visit, with goons playing doctors, staff, and patients.
Things take an unexpected turn when Munna’s father meets Dr. Jagdish Asthana, who founded the first hospital in Munna’s village. Asthana’s presence threatens Munna’s charade, and chaos ensues.
